IHRDC has organized two Industry Site Visits for the 2002 calendar year. These one-week programs are designed to allow international managers the opportunity to visit a number of sites in Houston to see first hand state-of-art facilities and to meet with individuals and organizations that are involved in more recent industry developments.

A balance is maintained between upstream and downstream facilities depending on participant interests. Visits are scheduled to operating facilities, consulting organizations, service companies, manufacturers, engineering firms and operating companies during a five-day session. Pre-visit research and post-visit discussions take place after each session to maximize the value of the visits. IHRDC manages the daily schedule and housing arrangements, from arrival in Houston on Sunday evening to departure on Friday after lunch.

These programs are scheduled to follow the International Petroleum Business Management Program and International Gas Business Management Certificate Program thereby allowing participants the option of extending their stay one week.
