Program Objectives
Through a careful balance of formal lectures by leading experts and unique workshop sessions, this two-week program provides participants with a comprehensive exposure to the technology, economics, finance and markets that shape and affect the international gas industry today. It also teaches the management skills needed to increase performance within an integrated gas business environment.

Who Should Attend
This program is intended for specialists in one or more functional areas of the international energy industry, such as exploration, production, processing, storage, transportation, distribution, power generation, petrochemicals, finance and marketing, who wish to broaden their practical knowledge of the business environment and to learn the current "best practices" of the integrated gas industry.

Instructional Format
The instructional format consists of formal lectures by leading experts and team participation in a specially developed workshop/business simulator. The lecturers have been carefully selected for their extensive practical experience, knowledge of the industry and strong communication skills. This combination of formal lectures and intensive workshop sessions has proven to be an ideal way to teach the practical needs required by today’s international energy manager.

Awarding of Certificate
Certificates will be issued to individuals who successfully complete the program.

Program Location and Accomodations
The program will be held at the John Hancock Conference Center in the attractive Back Bay section of Boston. Known as America’s Walking City, Boston is also the historical, educational, and cultural center of the United States. For your convenience, IHRDC has reserved guest rooms for program attendees at several area hotels. Enrollees needing assistance with accommodations should contact IHRDC for bookings.

Social Activities and Administrative Assistance
We want attendees to feel at home during their stay in Boston. With this in mind, we will have an IHRDC Program Coordinator available on-site to assist attendees with non-program needs including shopping, travel arrangements and individual administrative concerns. In addition, social events are organized in the evenings and excursions by bus to regional sites of interest are scheduled each weekend.
