Objectives
This IHRDC Executive Forum provides energy industry executives with updates
on the major trends and important changes that are occurring within the
international oil, gas and power business. Sixteen distinguished speakers
offer their views on where important changes are being made and how companies
can respond strategically to take advantage of those changes. This is an
ideal forum for you to pause for a few days to learn, discuss, and consider
where the industry is headed and how you can "change the course of the ship"
to respond to those opportunities.
Program Objectives

and power Industries.
- Gain knowledge that will be critical in developing and Implementing
company strategy, and effectively aligning functional activities with
the challenges facing your business.
- Share experiences with energy executives from wide geographic, industry,
and functional areas.
Who Should Attend
Executives and managers who are interested and responsible for making
strategic change within their companies should attend this forum. It will
be especially valuable for strategic, commercial, financial, marketing
and technology managers; legal counsel, and others who must stay current
with the energy business to perform effectively. It will also have special
appeal to graduates of IHRDC management courses who wish to update what
they have learned in prior “energy value chain” business programs.
Learning Format
The week-long program incorporates presentations by executive-level experts
(see Program Content), followed by structured discussions among the participants.
The objective of the discussions will be to identify key trends and develop
conclusions as to how these trends might affect your organization in the
future. Discussions and key conclusions will be captured into a document
and Issued at the end of the program.
Awarding of Certificate
A Certificate is issued to individuals who successfully complete the program.
Program Location and Accommodations
The program will be held at the John Hancock Conference Center in the
attractive Back Bay section of Boston. Known as America's Walking City,
Boston is also the historical, educational, and cultural center of the
United States. For your convenience, IHRDC has reserved guest rooms for
program attendees at several area hotels. Enrollees needing assistance
with accommodations should contact IHRDC for bookings. Rooms are limited-early
reservations are encouraged.
