The Reporting System

Career Plan's fourth major component is its Reporting System. This is the main vehicle for implementing Career Plan and preparing comprehensive reports for the employee and management. Chief among its features are the Career Development Data Sheet and the Individual Development Plan. These reports allow managers to review each individual's training progress and to recommend new development activities for the coming year. The Reporting System also allows the manager to sort, filter and trace employees and their progress in order to ensure that the career management system is working as intended, to select employees to fill specific job needs, to obtain a standard set of information on all employees, and to identify areas where change is needed. A wide range of custom reports may also be developed.

The three databases, along with Career Plan's reporting capability, work together for the individual employee and for all employees to turn organizational human resource goals into the reality of improved performance.
