International LNG Business Management Certificate Program

June 2 – 13, 2014

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

This two-week program is ideal for those who seek a comprehensive understanding of the LNG business and wish to learn how major LNG projects are developed, from concept to operation. The first week is devoted to LNG fundamentals including history of the industry, the LNG value chain, available technologies, natural gas and LNG markets, industry players, project financing, and major legal contracts along the LNG value chain and their negotiation. The second week explores the development of LNG projects, from gas discovery to facility design, construction, and operation of facilities, using the industry-accepted Stage-Gate project management process. Learning is achieved through a combination of lectures by a strong team of seasoned LNG and major capital project specialists and team participation in the Cosmos LNG Workshop, a realistic business game that challenges the teams to manage the development of an LNG facility in the Republic of Cosmos, located on the east coast of Africa.
